Kent Ranch provides a breathtaking backdrop for all types of occasions, from engagements to that perfect family Christmas photo. In 2022, we planted over 4,000 square feet of Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Blanket wildflowers, creating a vibrant canvas for your photos. Wildflowers often reach their peak in their 3rd & 4th growing seasons, and with 2026 on the horizon, our rolling prairie is set to offer an exceptional display, making it the perfect time to capture nature’s splendor in full color.

At Kent Ranch, we aim to be a true asset to our community. We believe kids thrive when surrounded by fresh air, farm animals, and wide-open spaces. As we continue to grow, our hope is that through collaboration with local leaders and educators, we can help kindle a deeper appreciation for the land that feeds us. Strengthening the bond between people and the soil that sustains them enriches both individual well-being and the fabric of our community.
Community
Our flock of pasture-raised laying hens thrives as they are rotated regularly using electric net fencing. Our hens produce premium-quality, highly nutritious eggs while naturally enriching the soil and aiding in pest control. Note: We do not currently sell chicken eggs or meat.
Pasture-Raised Poultry
As a Conservation Partner with Texas Parks & Wildlife and Pastures for Upland Birds, we’ve restored over 20 acres of our farm to native prairie, a project that will also be entering year 4 in 2026. These Texas native prairies support wildlife, bolster pollinator populations, and enhance the water and mineral cycles while building resilient ecosystems for generations to come.

We’re cultivating a herd of grass-fed cattle, using Charolais females bred to South Poll bulls. This carefully chosen combination enhances docility, forage efficiency and adaptability, resulting in healthy, sustainably raised beef. Note: We currently do not have cattle or beef for sale.
